The Animal Index is the in-game collection log that records every species you have hatched, one entry per animal in the pet index table above. Filling index entries is the long-term completion goal behind each egg run: you are not just stacking income, you are checking off the roster.
Each confirmed animal — Owl, Dragon, Cobra and Phoenix so far — is an index entry, and every new egg the developer ships (Celestial, Eternal, Savannah, Underworld) extends the roster. The Badge API hatch counts in the new eggs section above are the only verifiable progress signal we have for how far the community has filled the index.
The developer has not published a confirmed list of what each index-completion milestone grants. We will not invent reward tiers. As soon as AnimalByte confirms the Animal Index rewards, this section is updated with dated values and a source, the same way we handle codes and events.

The egg roster grew four times after launch: Celestial (Aug 30), Eternal (Sep 1), Savannah (Sep 4) and The Underworld Egg (Sep 17). Official Badge API counts from Oct 27 2026: Savannah Egg 2,517,164 hatches (+1,764 in the last 24 hours), Celestial Egg 1,687,428 (+1,088), The Underworld Egg 351,147 (+1,300) and Eternal Egg 620,940. Eternal reopened through the Sep 11 Admin Abuse boosts and has since swung between bursts of roughly +12K to +58K a day and near-standstills — right now it is flat again at ~+32/day. Only The Underworld Egg has official route text (“Carried an egg out of The Underworld and back across Start”); no footage we checked confirms where Savannah, Celestial or Eternal sit, what guards them, or what hatches from them, so all four stay listed separately until a route is verified.

As of the Celestial Heights Update, two mutations exist: Gold (4x) and Purple Aurora (2x). They stack on the same pet, so a single Purple Aurora-egg hatch is published at 8x combined.

You enter a biome, grab an egg from a nest, dodge a slow-moving guard of a random species, and carry the egg back to your base. Eggs hatch into pets that stay in your Pen and generate Cash per second — your main progression loop.
The roster is expanding fast: the developer added new eggs on Aug 30, Sep 1, Sep 4 and Sep 17 2026, and the Roblox Badge API now lists 13 egg badges plus the Welcome and Celestial Heights badges (checked Oct 27). The community thumbnails cross-checked for this wiki confirm four pets with published income (Owl, Dragon, Phoenix, Cobra); The Underworld Egg is the only late egg with an official route statement (carried out of The Underworld back across Start) and already sits at 351K hatches, while Savannah, Celestial and Eternal still have no verified guardian or animal pool in footage — all four are tracked in the new eggs section below.

Two mutations exist as of the Celestial Heights Update: Gold (4x pet income and 4x sale value, made by merging 5 identical pets in the Mutation Machine) and Purple Aurora (2x, found only on mutated eggs spawned during the Purple Aurora event). Gold and Purple Aurora stack on the same pet, giving 8x combined.
Events are global — they fire on every server every 30 minutes. Each event lasts 7 minutes. Cash Rush (2x Cash) and Training Frenzy (2x Jump XP) are about pure boosts; Purple Aurora spawns mutated eggs across all areas of the map.
The Mutation Machine sits next to the Coils Shop in the Pen area. Place 5 identical base pets inside, wait for the merge to finish, and you get back one Gold-mutated pet of that type — and you free 4 Pen slots in the process.
Gold is the stronger single mutation at 4x income and 4x sale value, but it needs 5 identical base pets merged in the Mutation Machine. Purple Aurora is only 2x yet costs nothing but an egg run during the event window. The real best mutation is both on one pet — an 8x stack you get by merging five Purple Aurora hatches of the same species.
Yes. Selling during the Cash Rush event gives you 2x the normal sale price, so wait for that 7-minute window if you are unloading duplicates. The Mutated Machine path is usually the better move for keeping the pet, but selling is fine when you need Cash fast.
